Young Thug is released from prison
After spending more than 900 days behind bars on three counts of racketeering and gang activity, Young Thug was released yesterday, as reported by the BBC. It took the American rapper, arrested in May 2022 in the state of Georgia, to plead guilty to reach this conclusion.
The 33-year-old star, whose real name is Jeffery Williams, began a 15-year probation period in Atlanta after telling the court he took “full responsibility” for his crimes. As part of the agreement reached with the courts, Young Thug was still ordered to perform 100 hours of community service and respect several rules of conduct.
