After searches carried out in P. Diddy's residences in Los Angeles and Miami, the authorities announced that they had discovered a thousand bottles of baby oil. If we thought that it was used as lubricant during the rapper's evenings of debauchery, they would in fact have had another function.
On March 25, 2024, the federal police simultaneously searched the properties of P. Diddy, in Los Angeles and Miami in search of evidence against him. The rapper, the target of numerous complaints, is accused of rape, sex trafficking, criminal conspiracy and transporting people for the purposes of prostitution. At his home, the authorities discovered drugs, weapons, compromising videos, photos but also sex rooms. One element quickly caught the attention of investigators: these thousand bottles of baby oil stored at his home.

The media then raise the possibility that this product was used as a lubricant. in what authorities described as “freak offs,” depraved sex parties where victims were allegedly sexually assaulted. “He has a big house, he buys in lots. I think there are Costcos (American supermarket brand, editor’s note) in every place where he has a house,” replies the rapper’s lawyer.
Facilitate chemical submission
But according to the major survey published this week by Paris Match, baby oil actually had a function other than that initially mentioned. Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, the lawyer for several victims, explains: “When federal agents got their hands on these bottles, they initially thought that their contents were used as lubricant. It could be much more sordid than that. By viewing the orgies filmed at the accused's homes, the police discovered inanimate women and men undergoing obvious sexual assaults. »
According to her, the oil was in fact used as a carrier for GHB, known to be the rapist drug. Mixed with oil, the drug would more easily penetrate the victims' bodies to chemically subjugate them. The lawyer tells the story of one of her clients, a complainant in a case, who was allegedly doused with oil before being raped. “We now know that GHB can be administered via lubricant. Many rapes are committed by this process,” explains Stephen Morris, director of the Metropolitan Police Service and National Crime Agency. The investigation linked to P. Diddy will have to determine whether the passage through the epidermis of the oil mixed with a drug like GHB produces the same effect as by ingestion or injection. Failing this, the experts will have to prove that the simple act of spraying the victim caused damage to the mucous membranes: nose, eyes, mouth or genitals.
In their complaints, the vast majority of alleged victims say they were raped before being sexually abused. P. Diddy denies the accusations. He is currently incarcerated in Brooklyn. His release on bail was twice refused by the courts.
