MotoGP: stratospheric start for Fabio
On foot of the podium, Fabio di Giannantonio had a very nice end to the GP, ahead of Enéa Bastianini and Franco Morbidelli. A Ducati sextuplet. Brad Binder, on KTM, is seventh, followed by the Aprilia of Maverick Vinalès and, nice surprise, Fabio Quartararo, ninth. The tricolor overtook Johann Zarco, Jack Miller and Raul Fernandez, in the second part of the race, after a stratospheric start.
For his part, Johann finished twelfth, a slight disappointment as the Honda seemed capable of a top ten finish today. He remains, however, the first driver of the Japanese brand to finish. Finally, note the fall of Marco Bezzecchi, second at the start of the race before a long lap, ultimately inflicted following the collision the day before, with Maverick Vinalès.
