In a tweet published the following day, Vianney mentioned a disturbing coincidence: his song “Beau-papa” was playing in a supermarket at the time of the arrest.

“There’s my song Beau-papa (absurd contrast) that’s playing in the store when he gets caught and I don’t know what to do with this information. Oh yes, I’ll take the opportunity to show my full support for Gisèle Pelicot, so courageous and so dignified. Infinite respect, Madam.”

Even though the artist took advantage of this anecdote to express his support for Gisèle Pelicot, his message was not well received by Internet users. And the reactions were quick to come.

And less than 24 hours after the publication of his tweet, Vianney’s X account disappeared. For the moment, it is impossible to determine if it is a technical problem, a suspension or a closure of the account.
