Yesterday afternoon, Lola and Gabriel were elected Miss and Mister Levant 2023 respectively. annual meeting which was postponed by a week due to bad weather in the region last weekend.

Lola and Gabriel therefore won the votes of the summer visitors with a novelty this year, since for the first time the candidates were not naked on the stage, unlike in previous years for the official photos.

This time, as can be seen in the photos below, the women wore stockings and the men also chose to cover their most private parts.

A real change for this competition which takes place on a naturist island and in front of hundreds of naked spectators.

Since 1947, the Ile du Levant has been electing the most beautiful naturist every summer and for several years now it is Mister Levant who has also been elected by the residents of the Héliopolis naturist centre.

Several hundred people gather every year to take part in this competition. It should be noted that in 2022, for the first time since the creation of the competition in 1946, the Levantines of Heliopolis, a naturist area on the island, crowned a transgender candidate.

Here are the winners of the 2022 season in the photo below with the candidates who presented themselves for the election… Waiting for the lucky ones who will be designated tomorrow evening!

Although a small part of the island is open to the public (10% of its territory), Le Levant is the first naturist destination in , with the naturist domain of Heliopolis.
