Little known to the general public, the name of Hiromi Rollin has been in the headlines since Wednesday. The spotlight has been on Alain Delon’s companion since the children of the French cinema star took legal action against him. On Wednesday, Anouchka, Alain-Fabien and Anthony Delon filed a complaint against this 66-year-old woman with the Montargis prosecution, in Loiret, where the actor owns a property, in Douchy, for moral harassment and misappropriation of correspondence. Alain Delon, 87, joined in this complaint. A preliminary investigation was opened on Thursday and entrusted jointly to the Orleans research section and the Montargis research brigade.
“Since Mr. Alain Delon’s cardiovascular accident in 2019”, this woman “who moved in with him has shown herself to be more and more aggressive, denigrating and insulting towards him, and towards his children”, says the actor’s children’s attorney. She “never ceases to isolate Alain Delon from his relatives, his friends, and his family, using maneuvers and threats. She systematically checks her telephone conversations and her private messages,” he continues.
Anthony Delon has filed a second complaint against the sexagenarian, in particular for “willful violence and sequestration of a vulnerable person, abuse of weakness and moral harassment”. According to the eldest son of Alain Delon, the situation, in two years, took “such proportions” that his father himself asked his companion in writing that she leave her residence in Douchy. According Paris Match, it would be the placement of his dog, Loubo, in a kennel against the will of Alain Delon which would have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. This decision prompted her children to file a complaint against Hiromi Rollin. But who is she really?
“My Japanese Companion”
Hiromi Rollin had a brief career in the film industry, where she held various positions (make-up artist, assistant, assistant director, etc.). She notably worked on the set of Evening dress (1986), Adultery, instructions for use (1995) or even Frank Riva (2003-2004). It’s on the set of the movie The Return of Casanova in 1992 that Delon and Hiromi would have met. The latter was then second assistant director.
In 2021, the movie star introduces Hiromi Rollin as “his Japanese companion” during an interview on TV5 World: “During my real convalescence [à la suite de son AVC en 2019, NDLR]I was helped by a person, a Japanese girlfriend that I have, who took care of me and cared for me for months,” he confided.
She was seen by his side on rare occasions: in September 2021, at the funeral of Jean-Paul Belmondo at the Saint-Germain-des-Prés church, in Paris, or last May, at the Le Vox cinema in Château- Renard to attend, with the actor, the screening of David Lanzmann’s film, Wild Daysin the presence of Fabien-Alain Delon.
