Mobilized on the spot, the prefect of police, Laurent Nuñez, assured that “everything has been done” to prevent the collapse of the arrow. He added that the disaster had not made a victim, the goalkeeper and the people in the town hall having been evacuated.
A “trying” moment
Emmanuelle Pierre-Marie, the mayor of the 12th arrondissement, went there and expressed his emotion in the face of the disaster which affected the historic building.
“To see this town hall in flames will certainly mark for life. This is a lot of emotions,” blows the elected.

The mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, was also by his side. She spoke of a “extremely moving, trying” moment.
