Real Valladolid coach Diego Cocca was asked by the press after his team’s 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid, confirming that midfielder Kike Pérez would leave the club for a new life project in Italy.
Cocca acknowledged the personal challenges players face, saying it is natural for them to be affected by circumstances off the field. In Pérez’s case, he suggested he may have struggled to fully concentrate, knowing he would soon be leaving.

Regarding the match against Real Madrid, Cocca stressed the importance of executing a flawless performance to achieve a positive result, noting that efficiency in front of goal was not there. “The team tried to combine and generate scoring chances. Everyone gave their all, but we have to take into account the caliber of our opponent,” he explained.
