James Rodríguez made a dazzling start with his first goal for the León club

During a remarkable first home game, Colombian footballer James David Rodríguez was able to make an impression on January 25, allowing the León club to take a 1-0 lead against the Bravos de Juárez during the Liga MX. As a key player in the team, he took the role of captain and opened the scoring in the second half of the meeting held at the new camp.

Rodríguez found the net path in the 50th minute after a fault was committed in the area by the goalkeeper of Juárez, Sebastián Jurado, causing the granting of a penalty. Although he chose not to shoot a penalty in the previous match against Atlas, Rodríguez approached with confidence to achieve this decisive strike.

Remaining faithful to his characteristic style, he delivered a powerful strike from the left foot which spun at the bottom of the nets, although Jurado anticipated the right direction. The shot had the height and the strength necessary to exceed the goalkeeper and offer the club León a precious lead in their third Liga MX match.
