A very sad news. This Saturday, AJ Auxerre announced “with great sadness the disappearance of Anthony Basso, goalkeeper at AJA between 1998 and 2000 then from 2007 to 2008”. He was 45 years old.

A native of Besançon (), he had caught the eye of Guy Roux and joined the Auxerrois training center in 1998 before knowing a tour of Europe, of Italy (Udinese, Benevento…) in Switzerland (Yverdon ), via Norway (Viking FK) and Scotland (Heart of Midlothian).
