Shortly after midnight, during the night from Friday to Saturday, an arson attack hit the ground floor of a building on Place des Pradettes. The homes located just above were evacuated.
They are disgusted. This Saturday morning, two residents look with dismay at the facade of a building on Place des Pradettes, in Toulouse. On the ground floor, charred debris from trash cans and partially consumed pieces of glass wool litter the floor, these are the remains of the fire which broke out shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Friday night in SATURDAY. Around twenty firefighters quickly went to the scene, accompanied by a Samu team. They evacuated the 12 people who were staying in five apartments in this small three-story building, without any injuries being reported.

They were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the upper floors. But on the ground floor, the flames affected the dental office as well as the small neighborhood supermarket. Inside the business, an acrid smell invades the nostrils as soon as you enter. The people who run it are busy repatriating food from one fridge to another, because the fire has affected the groups of some of the refrigeration appliances.
A little fatalistic, the manager of the establishment wants to quickly reopen his small supermarket which provides many services to local residents. But in front of his establishment, two residents are cursing. “They set fire to the trash cans, it’s criminal,” one of them is indignant. And to hope that those who are at the origin of this fire do not get away with it.
