Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, the stars of reality TV “The Hills”, brought legal action against the city of Los Angeles following the damage caused by the devastating fire in the Pacific Palisades district.
After the destruction of their house, as well as that of their parents, in the historic forest fires of Los Angeles, Heidi Montage and her husband, Spencer Pratt, continued the city and the Department of Water and the Electricity (LADWP).

The couple, who joined 20 other owners, including Spencer Pratt’s mother, Janet Pratt, accused Ladwp of having emptied the Santa Ynez tank before the fire of January 7, preferring to wait for entrepreneurs external rather than using their own staff. “This declared public objective has been widely exceeded by the substantial risk posed to Pacific Palisades by forest fires. The extent of the damage caused by the fire of palisades has largely exceeded the advantages that could have been obtained by outsourcing and delaying repairs, ”specifies the complaint.
The complainants claimed compensation of an amount not specified as part of an “reverse conviction”, making it possible to claim compensation for damage caused by public use. Among the prejudices are reparation costs, the loss of enjoyment of properties and that of income.
After losing their house, one of the 6,500 structures destroyed by the flames, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt had urged Internet users to listen to the singer’s titles to support them financially.
