A new “worrying” study from UFC-Que Choisir and Générations Futures, published Thursday, warns of the “massive” presence of an eternal pollutant in the pipes of a large majority of cities where it was searched. This pollutant is trifluoroacetic acid or TFA, which is almost indestructible. It is part of the group of PFAS, these “extremely persistent” chemical substances, which accumulate in our environment.
