For its 25th anniversary, the Winter Festival event in Val-d’Or travels to the city center, on the 3rd avenue, in order to renew itself.
We were looking for something to highlight this 25th. You know, in events, when you have special birthdays, you are looking for something to attract, to foam, to reinvent yourself

The Committee also wanted to participate in the revitalization efforts of the Val-d’Or city center and invite citizens to occupy the streets on foot rather than a car. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to discover the city center between the 6th and 9th rue.

The slide will be fitted out on unoccupied land near the Saint-Sauveur church. Fireworks will be replaced by a laser show. The group Zébulon and the humorist Mathieu Cyr will host Friday and Saturday evening respectively.
The event will take place on February 7, 8 and 9.
