According to sources close to the investigation, the missing couple was found dead this Thursday morning in a garden in a small town not far from Deauville.
-Maëva Gazé and Martin Delamare, 20 years old, had not been heard from since Wednesday evening. Their car, a dark-colored C1, was found in Saint-Martin-aux-Chartrains, near Pont-l’Évêque, parked in a parking lot along the D677, opposite the town hall.
The gendarmerie launched a search around this area to find the two young people on Thursday morning and at the same time, a large-scale operation was organized around Bolbec and in Seine-Maritime, in order to locate a man considered suspicious. The operation was still in progress at the end of the afternoon, as our team on site was able to confirm.
According to our information, the Lisieux Public Prosecutor’s Office was removed from the case in favor of the Caen Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The Caen prosecutor has not yet made an official statement.
