The healthcare professional is in fact suspected of having omitted the declaration of numerous expensive assets belonging to him. The person concerned actually owns several luxury cars from the BMW brand, two apartments – one in kyiv and the second in Odessa – and a nice jackpot of more than $150,000 in cash. As our colleagues from Le Parisien point out, these assets were registered in the names of several members of his family: his wife and his children.

In practice, the man belonged to a commission which was responsible for deciding whether the individuals who called on his services were suitable or not to join the Ukrainian army. The chief psychiatrist faces up to ten years in prison.
