It was 12:19 p.m., Thursday January 23, 2025, when the firefighters were called for a fire in an apartment, in Nantes.
Arriving at rue Georges-de-la-Tour, Dervallières district, the 19 firefighters on-site personnel noted that the flames were coming from the bedroom of the accommodation located in a four-story building.
-Two people relocated
“The action of the firefighters made it possible toavoid the spread to other rooms in the apartment, to extinguish the fire and to ventilate the circulation areas of the building,” states the Loire-Atlantique Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis 44).
The origin of this fire has not been specified. Two people will be rehoused by Nantes Métropole Habitat.
