Sunday in : The starters of the Prix d’Amérique Legend Race

Idao de Tillard will he manage to retain his title, a feat no longer achieved since 2021 by Face Time Bourbon ? The response will be validated on Sunday around 4:24 p.m., after a little over three minutes of racing. At the end of nine weeks of competition, the America Races will deliver their verdict in a 2025 edition that is perhaps more open than ever.

Idao de Tillard and his challengers

Less energetic this winter, Idao de Tillard (T.Duvaldestin) put the dots on the “i”s in the Prix de Bourgogne – Amerique Races Q5. The title contender won in 1’09”8 leaving a positive impression, reassuring his supporters. Go On Boy (R.Derieux) should be his number 1 opponent, author of a very good start in the race won by Idao de Tillard. Where is it? San Engine (B.Goop)second in “Bretagne” and not seen since? His race in Aby on December 14 was good (victory in 1’11”6) but the opposition was not that of Sunday. Let’s not forget Hooker Berry (N.Bazire) titled in 2023, twice third in the qualifying races (in “” and “Belgium”).

Young people with long teeth

They have less than €500,000 in their bank account but arrive with real ambitions in the Legend Race. The 5 year old Keep Going (M.Mottier) broke the screen in the Critérium Continental – Amerique Races Q3 (1’09”7) while the 7 year old mare Iroise de la Noé (T.Levesque) did not provide details in the Prix de Belgique – America Races Q6, on January 12.

Iroisé de la Noé, the least rich, but certainly not the least talented

A great first for some

Three drivers will experience a great moment, surely the dream of a lifetime: Vincenzo d’Alessandro (with Ampia Mede SM), David Bekaert (have sulky de Fakir de Mahey) et Thomas Levesque (with Iroise de la Noé) are the “rookies” of this Prix d’Amérique Legend Race. Everyone has a long way to go before joining Franck Nivard and his 18 participations and five coronations.
