Ikea: more steam than harm

According to our colleagues from “20 minutes”, a steam release is in progress at the Ikea store in Aubonne (VD).

An evacuation took place and firefighters are on site, according to the Vaud cantonal police, who were alerted around 11 a.m.

The origin of the steam comes from a technical room. There was no fire, contrary to initial information.

The situation is under control. There were no injuries. The Ikea store is likely to reopen this Thursday.
