A knife attack occurred this Wednesday morning in a park in Aschaffenburg, Germany.
Around 11:45 a.m., an individual was in the public garden when he stabbed four people at random.
A 41-year-old man and a 2-year-old child died at the scene from their injuries.
Two other people, seriously injured, were transported to the Aschaffenburg clinic.
-The police quickly cordoned off the perimeter. The suspect, aged 28, tried to flee using the railway tracks, but he was overpowered by the police and taken into an arm lock position.
Schöntal Park is a historic green space of more than nine hectares, designed in the style of an English garden. The police regularly carry out foot patrols there, which contributed to the rapid arrest of the attacker.
For the moment, we do not know the reasons for his action.
