The city where prices will explode the most in this sector is Nice (+11.9%). It is followed by Marseille (+9.24%) and finally Montpellier (+8.99%).
The director of Leocare Assurances gave the reason why it is these cities that are experiencing so many price increases: “These southern cities, unfortunately for them, accumulate all the impacts, whether climate, theft, fire and vandalism. which means they are hit harder in terms of tariff increases for 2025.” A resident of Nice explained to our colleagues that she paid 964 euros last year for her insurance, compared to 852 euros in 2021. The year 2025 will be even more difficult financially since on average, it will be 26 euros of more per month to add to the bill to protect your home from unforeseen events.
