In a major development for the Turkish Süper Lig, experienced central defender Milan Skriniar, a former Paris Saint-Germain player, is set to continue his season in Turkey, but not with Galatasaray. Despite discussions which suggested a possible transfer to the club at the top of the championship, the Slovak (29 years old, with five appearances in Ligue 1 this season) will finally join Fenerbahçe, according to local sources.
Skriniar is expected in Istanbul on Wednesday to undergo his medical as part of the transfer process. According to information from reliable sources, the transfer will be made in the form of a loan. This situation complicates business for PSG, who have already reached the limit of six players loaned to clubs abroad. As a result, this restriction hinders the official announcement of Randal Kolo Muani’s loan to Juventus.
