On Nuit , we regularly share Rappel Conso updates. We urge our readers not to take each recall campaign lightly. Too often, clients think they have nothing to worry about. However, even popular brands like Leclerc can find themselves on the government website.

It must be said that the latter records on average 80 callbacks per month. So, all brands can appear there. They have, in fact, the obligation to notify the platform in order to ensure optimal circulation of information. Today, the Leclerc sign is once again highlighted for an important reminder.

Vigilance necessary, even among major brands

To think that popular brands like Leclerc are less subject to recalls is unfounded. With the sheer number of products they sell in their stores every day, risk is inevitable.

However, this does not mean that the quality is lower or that there is room for distrust. Leclerc, like other major brands, carries out strict and regular checks. But despite these precautions, recalls may occurparticularly because of the great diversity of items it offers for sale.

The Rappel Conso platform plays a crucial role here. When Leclerc identifies a problematic product, after internal controls or customer reports, all necessary information is transmitted to the platform. This allows consumers to be informed quickly and know how to react.

Leclerc mushrooms not to eat

The last reminder concerns dehydrated porcini mushrooms (in a 40 gram jar). These were available throughout France in Leclerc stores. Indeed, they offered them for sale between October 2, 2024 and December 20, 2024. It is the Notre Jardin brand which is at the origin of the procedure.

If you shop at Leclerc, several pieces of information will help you identify the products. First, the GTIN code (3564700739969) and lot number (M02594). Next, the minimum durability date, which falls on September 22, 2025.

But why such a reminder? What is the origin of the problem? The excessive presence of pesticides, a sensitive subject which concerns many foods in France, in Leclerc as elsewhere.

Pesticides beyond regulatory thresholds

Although the use of pesticides remains common in agriculture, strict thresholds are set by the European Union to guarantee consumer safety. In this specific case, the analyzes reveal that the maximum authorized limits have been exceeded. Therefore, authorities appeal to customers not to consume these mushrooms.

Customers of the Leclerc brand have two options. They can get rid of mushrooms by throwing them away. Otherwise, they can return them to a point of sale in order to obtain a refund on site.

Please note, Leclerc ends its recall campaign on March 17, 2025. After this date, no refund will be possible. If you have any further questions, you can contact customer service on 08 00 86 52 86.

This reminder from the Leclerc brand finally reminds us that pesticides remain a problem in 2025. It is therefore urgent that manufacturers become aware of the risks and comply with standards.
