After a bitter 7-3 loss against the Leafs yesterday, the Canadian showed a lot of character by winning a most exciting match Sunday evening against the Rangers, 5-4 in overtime, thanks to a goal of Patrik Laine and miraculous stops of Jakub Dobes.
The Canadian will now try to earn a 13th victory in their last 17 games while the Tampa Bay Lightning are in town. A victory that could give them 2nd place in the Wild Card in the East ahead of the Bruins.
Earlier today, the coach confirmed his goalkeeper for this match and it will be Samuel Montembeault whose mission will be to stop the Lightning’s powerful attack.
