-Has the same team struck out twice in less than a week? In Marseille, two tobacco bar managers were robbed by armed men riding two-wheelers, according to a police source, confirming information from the Actu 17 site. Although we do not know if there is a link between the two cases , the circumstances are surprisingly similar.
This Monday, January 20, a tobacconist in the 7th arrondissement, in the southern districts of the city, was robbed by two individuals armed with a handgun just after closing his business. According to a police source, the attackers on scooters, gloved, dressed in black, on Boulevard des Dardanelles, stole his bag containing a cash sum of almost 20,000 euros, today’s recipe. Then they fled.
On the evening of Wednesday January 15, another merchant, this time in the Sainte-Marguerite district, in the 9th arrondissement, still to the south of the city, was attacked in the same way at the end of the day by two individuals hooded on a two-wheeler, on Boulevard Gillibert as he went to the bank to deposit his cash receipts. Threatened with a handgun, the tobacconist refused to give up his bag, he was then hit with a gun butt to the head. He had to give in and also handed over the checkbook and the store’s bank card. The amount of loot amounted to more than 13,000 euros, according to police sources.
