US Dollar Plunges as Bitcoin Records New High

American currency lost a little more than 1% yesterday against the Canadian dollar.

This drop came shortly after the publication of press articles according to which Donald Trump would not immediately impose customs tariffs on several countries, including Canada.

The bitcoin went in the opposite direction.

Shortly before the swearing-in of the new crypto-friendly president, bitcoin reached a new high of just over US$109,000.
