After nearly a fortnight of fierce fight against the flames, the fires in Los Angeles made a disastrous assessment : 31 people lost their lives, more than 12,000 buildings were damaged or destroyed and 16,000 hectares of vegetation went up in smoke. More than 200,000 residents had to be evacuated due to the threat. Unfortunately, the Santa Ana winds resumed this Monday, a phenomenon which risks rekindling the terrible inferno.
To heal these wounds, the Music industry has mobilized on an unprecedented scale. On January 30, the biggest names in music will come together for FireAid, a major charity event that will be broadcast on multiple platforms, including Apple TV.

The event will take on a magnificent dimension by simultaneously investing in the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forumtwo premier sports and entertainment arenas located in Inglewood, California.
Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish alongside her brother Finneas, or even the Red Hot Chili Pepperschildren of the country will carry the colors of this evening high. The legendary Joni Mitchell, Pink and Stevie Nicks will bring their voices to this concert, while Green DaySting et Rod Stewart will enrich this already dizzying program. Even the great Stevie Wonder and Earth Wind and Fire will be present.

The collaboration between Live Nation, AEG, the Clippers and the Azoff Company will allow worldwide broadcast. This will be provided by an impressive consortium of platforms: Apple Music, Max, Netflix/Tudom, Paramount+, Prime Video, without forgetting social networks like YouTube and Twitch via Amazon Music. Viewers will also be able to experience the event in select AMC theaters, on iHeartRadio, KTLA+, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud and Veeps.
All donations collected will be supervised by the Annenberg Foundationa private American philanthropic foundation that supports numerous causes across the United States and beyond. These funds will be allocated not only to emergency measures for victims, but also to long-term fire prevention initiatives. An approach that is both curative and preventative, which will relieve the City of Angels a little during this sad period.
