Loire: the socket catches fire, a man seriously burned
An electrical fire broke out during the night of Monday January 20 to Tuesday January 21, in the town of Tarentaise, in Pilat.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. this Tuesday, January 21, on the ground floor of a house, in Tarentaiseclose to Bessat.
According to emergency services, the disaster came from an electrical outlet.
The owner of the house, aged 53, was taken care of by the firefighters. He presented second and third degree burns to the hands.
Discomforted by the fumes, he was transported to the HPL (Loire Private Hospital) in Saint-Étienne. His wife, also bothered by the smoke, was left behind.
