Is there a divorce in the air between the French and the electric car? We could well see this when we look at the survey carried out by the CSA, on behalf of the French Automobile Platform (PFA), among 3,000 people. Because less than half of the population today considers that electric cars are an adequate response to climate change (43% of respondents).
And this is seen in their judgment on the measures that the authorities want to take. Only 27% support the banning of thermal cars on the Old Continent from 2035. Worse, 37% of people who responded say they are “electro-skeptics”, i.e. those who do not believe in the sustainability of electric vehicles. .
