A motorcyclist tried to escape the police while traveling at 148km/h, he ended his race in a roundabout.
As part of a speed check on the A13 motorway towards Pétange, Saturday January 18, the Grand Ducal police recorded a motorcyclist traveling at 148 km/h instead of the authorized 110 km/h.
At the “Biff” roundabout, a patrol was able to catch up with the driver, who was driving with a passenger, but the latter ignored the officers’ stop signals and fled towards Rodange. In an attempt to escape the police, he made several dangerous overtakes at speeds well in excess of 120 km/h. The motorcyclist finally fell in a roundabout allowing the police to catch him. He and his passenger were not injured and a report was issued.
