A 7-year-old child dies in a fire in Amanvillers

Drama in Amanvillers.

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, a 7-year-old child lost his life in a fire in his home. His parents and two other brothers and sisters, aged 15 months and 3 years old, managed to escape the flames before the firefighters arrived. All were taken to hospital.

Around 50 firefighters were mobilized. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy.

Since this tragic event, a call for solidarity has been launched in the town and its surroundings, in order to help the bereaved family. Basic necessities and clothing are in demand.
