In recent hours, the football world has been shaken by the announcement that Santos is on the verge of achieving the long-awaited return of Neymar. The Brazilian club would have in fact reactivated discussions, the superstar being ready to return on loan for six months.
According to information obtained by source, the Brazilian team did not back down in negotiations with Neymar’s camp and advanced discussions to bring him back, with the objective of him regaining full physical fitness.
Diariopeixe confirmed that the Brazilian star will return to the club where he took his first steps and won the Copa Libertadores in 2011. They indicated that the player’s willingness was crucial for his return, and that his salary would be shared between Santos and Al -Hilal, the club which owns its rights, although the details of this distribution remain unclear.

The salary should be quite high for the São Paulo institution, but they believe that it will “pay for itself” thanks to the revolution that his return would bring to Brazilian football.
-In this context, source revealed that Santos has already produced a video narrated by Pelé using artificial intelligence to try to convince the player, which would have touched the heart of the footballer’s father.
As part of the repatriation plan, supporters (at the request of management) sang “Volta pra casa, Neymar” (“Come home, Neymar”) during their 2–1 victory over Mirassol in their first 2025 match.
The Brazilian star appears to be preparing to cut short his stay in Saudi Arabia, where he has struggled to show his best level since arriving at Al-Hilal in 2023.
Recently, Jorge Jesus, the coach of the Saudi team, indicated that Neymar was not included in the squad for the national tournament. “Neymar will not be in the team; it is excluded and it has not been recorded. The Saudi league is one of the best leagues in the world, but Neymar can no longer play at the level we are used to, because unfortunately things have become difficult for him,” he stressed.
Neymar’s contract with the Saudi club is coming to an end, and MLS’s Chicago Fire have already started courting him, although a return to Santos remains the Brazilian’s priority.
