Al-Hilal has already found Neymar’s replacement

Clearly, Vitoria SC, a Portuguese first division club, finds itself plucked from all sides. After Alberto Costa, who left for Thiago Motta’s Juventus, and Manu Silvawho is about to join Wolverhampton, it is now the Brazilian Kaio César, who should leave, to join Al-Hilal. Indeed, according to information from the Portuguese daily THE GAMEJorge Jesus’ team has reportedly started negotiations with the Guimarães club, to secure the services of the 20-year-old winger.

This season, the native of Maceió has played 33 matches, scored four goals and provided eight assists. In January 2024, Kaio César left Curitiba, Brazil, to join Vitoria SC, in the form of a loan with an option to buy. This week, the president of Vitoria, António Miguel Cardoso, announced that this option would be lifted. It is therefore into the coffers of the Portuguese club that the money from a potential future transfer will be paid.

If there is a transfer to Al-Hilal, Kaio César will be included among the quota of foreign players under the age of 21 that a Saudi club is able to register.
