The Golden State Warriors host the Washington Wizards for the NBA regular season. It is at the Chase Center and on the night of Saturday to Sunday that Stephen Curry and his partners will face the worst team in the entire League. The opportunity is therefore great for the Warriors to achieve a second consecutive victory after the one obtained with forceps in Minnesota (116-115). Returning to balance in terms of its balance sheet thanks to this success in Minneapolis, the San Francisco franchise has the opportunity, against Washington, to go above 50% of victories, which will probably be necessary for the resulting from the 82 regular season matches if it does not want to see its 2024-2025 financial year end on April 13.
Unfortunately for Wizards fans, Washington has restarted a series of defeats over the past fortnight. While a slight improvement was noted at the end of 2024 (3 victories in 7 matches), the team coached by Brian Keefe fell back into its failings, its last 8 outings having ended in a setback. Suffice to say that the gang of Bilal Coulibaly and Alexandre Sarr are not approaching this trip to Golden State with zenith confidence, and it is certainly not their pitiful away record (1 victory in 16 matches) which will to reassure.
