Forwards Artturi Lehkonen and Jonathan Drouin were paired on the Colorado Avalanche’s second line and sparked in a 6-3 win Saturday at Ball Arena.
Completing their line with Casey Mittelstadt, the two former Montreal Canadiens players were involved in most of the local favorites’ good moves.

-Lehkonen had four points, two goals and two assists. He has 26 points, including 18 goals, in 35 games this season.
Drouin scored his 100th career goal by hitting the target at the end of the second period. His superb wrist shot left goalkeeper Casey DeSmith with no chance.
The Quebecer added two assists, which allowed him to reach the plateaus of 250 assists and 350 points. Since his return to the game, he has produced at the level of one point per game, with 14 points in as many duels.
Cale Makar, with a double, was the other big star for the Avalanche in this meeting. He also became the sixth defender to reach 100 goals the fastest, in 362 games.
