Home stretch for Franck and Ebony. A week after Marine’s qualification, it was the turn of the two semi-finalists to be faced with a public vote. A few days before D-Day, the two academicians had the pleasure of meeting their loved ones outside the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. Franck also had the privilege of meeting his audience in Bagneux, just like Ebony who was visiting Île-Saint-Denis. The two semi-finalists, accompanied by Marine, were then treated to a nice surprise this week: they went to visit an international star who was none other than the singer Lisa from the K-pop group Blackpink. Despite all these outings, Franck and Ebony did not neglect preparations for the prime where only one of them won his place in the final.

Like Marine and Charles last week, Franck and Ebony had the opportunity to share the stage with prestigious artists. The 20-year-old sang the song 7 Seconds with Senegalese singer Youssou N’Dour, while his friend and adversary performed the song She has gun eyes with Marc Lavoine. The two semi-finalists then joined Zaz for a medley of three of his greatest hits, before launching solo on As they say by Charles Aznavour for Franck and do not judge me by Camille Lellouche for Ebony. They also dazzled viewers with a song/dance performance to the title Unholy by Sam Smith and Kim Petras, before the voting results were revealed.

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for! After an evening which kept all its promises, Nikos Aliagas announced the name of the second finalist. Public votes have chosen Ebony as the person who will face Marine during an exceptional final scheduled for January 25 on TF1. The prize: a check for 100,000 euros and a contract with the record company Sony Music France for the release of his first album.
