INTERVIEWS Yves Vanderhaeghe will return to the RSCA this Sunday as coach of Kortrijk. He thinks that the RSCA will have more pressure given the latest results achieved in the championship by the mauves. The victory against Antwerp may, however, have given them some confidence, he adds.
The arrival of David Hubert as T1 was followed by a good series for the RSCA but since the number of injuries, the lack of defenders and fatigue have weighed down the positive dynamic which had been established, he analyzes.
He especially points out the absence of Mario Stroeykens which is felt in the midfield. His presence would undoubtedly have made it possible to take more points in the last matches. There have been too many changes in the team and staff in recent years, he says, and this weighs on the locker room in the long run.
He admits that he was contacted in October by the RSCA for a long-term T2 position and also to work for RSCA Futures and he responded favorably to this request. But the former mauve then had no further news from Peter Verbeeke and the option of Jonathan Alves was chosen by the club to its great regret.
