The services of the port of Bizerte Menzel Bourguiba secured, this Saturday morning, thanks to the improvement in the weather situation, the entry of a ship called “GAZ HONOUR” coming from Algeria, loaded with 5,200 tonnes of gas intended for domestic use, and its docking at the oil quay of the Société Tunisienne de Raffinage du Pétrole.

The director of the Agil Gas Company center in Bizerte, Salah Al-Bargawi, said that authorization was given to the technical and administrative team of the company, immediately after the completion of the unloading process of the part allocated cargo from the ship to the region, with a volume of approximately 2600 tons, to start filling domestic gas cylinders and transport them to all customers in the region and also in the northern and northern regions. west, this which will help adjust the consumer market for this vital product for the benefit of residents and professionals, and mitigate the impact of the cold spell currently experiencing the country.

It should be noted that the domestic gas consumption market in Bizerte experienced, during the first half of this month, an increase of around 35 percent compared to the same period last year. It is also expected that the Bizerte oil dock will receive a fourth vessel during the coming week as part of a series scheduled in advance to supply this vital consumer product to citizens.
