Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanded Saturday evening to receive the list of hostages to be released on Sunday before he can proceed with the first prisoner exchange under the truce agreement with Hamas.

“We will not proceed with the implementation of the agreement until we have received as agreed the list of hostages who will be released,” said a statement from Mr. Netanyahu. Questioned by AFP, a spokesperson for the Prime Minister specified that the list in question was that of the hostages to be released on Sunday, not before 2:30 p.m. GMT, according to the Israeli authorities, i.e. six hours after the entry into force of the truce.
