“When we arrived, the warehouse was on fire.“, says the Paris Fire Brigade. The BSPP intervened this Saturday for a fire declared at 7 rue du Tournant in Aubervilliers, after being contacted around 9:50 a.m.
-With an area of 1,600 m2, the damaged warehouse served as storage space for fabric and household appliances, according to the same source. The firefighters first carried out a “phase d’extinction“then one”phase of combating potential spread to adjoining buildings“.
The emergency services used 9 hoses and 29 devices, with the mobilization of 136 firefighters in total. No casualties have been reported.
The BSPP explained at the start of the afternoon that the building “smoke a little more“but that the extinguishing phase is being finalized. After carrying out tests, the firefighters indicate that there is “no risk for the population” related to smoke.
