Seven cars went up in smoke… This is the result of a hot morning which mobilized 58 firefighters and eleven machines, Saturday January 18, 2025, in Puiseux-en-France and Louvres (Val-d’Oise).
Seven cars burned
The first vehicle fire occurred shortly after 5 a.m., rue de Sobernheim, in Louvres.
During the firefighter intervention, other burned cars were reported in the neighboring town of Puiseux-en-France, rue du Général-Leclerc and rue du Manoir.
-A resident who saw a suspicious individual near the burning cars was able to give a precise description to the police. The latter spotted and arrested a man corresponding to this description, in Puiseux-en-France.
The accused was placed in police custody at the Louvres gendarmerie brigade.
A total of seven vehicles were destroyed. Three pavilions located near the fires were preserved by firefighters. Their intervention lasted three hours.
