Montpellier created a sensation by overthrowing Monaco (2-1) at the opening of the 18th day of Ligue 1. Trailing on a goal from Thilo Kehrer (32nd), Jean-Louis Gasset’s men were able to count on Moussa Al-Tamari , double scorer (55th, 82nd), to snatch the three points.
