She’s not officially First Lady yet, but Melania Trump already has a busy schedule. This January 16, 2025, the wife of the future former American president met Rania of Jordan in Palm Beach, Florida. A photo of the two women was published following this tête-à-tête at the summit. “It was a pleasure to meet the next First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump,” enthused the wife of King Abdullah II, currently visiting the country.
“During the meeting, hosted by the new First Lady of the United States, Queen Rania and Mrs. Trump discussed various issues of common interest, including the well-being of children, as well as improving their education” , indicates the Queen’s office.
This meeting, which was followed by a lunch, is already the third between Rania of Jordan and Melania Trump. In June 2018, the two spoke at length during a visit by the sovereign couple to the White House in Washington. The previous year, the understanding had already been more than cordial between the two women on the sidelines of their first meeting.
