Arnaud Boisset took 28th place in the Super-G in Wengen on Friday. A great performance for the Martignerain, who had not worn his shoes in competition since the beginning of December.
-Arnaud Boisset was solid for his return to competition. Absent from the Cirque Blanc since his big fall at Beaver Creek more than a month ago, the skier from Martigny took 28th place in the Super-G in Wengen this Friday.
He conceded 2.28 seconds on the winner of the day, the Bernese Franjo von Allmen. Arnaud Boisset could even have aimed for the Top-15 without his fault in passing the Kernen-S. In the Bernese Oberland, the Swiss once again played the leading roles. In addition to von Allmen’s success, Stefan Rogentin placed third. Marco Odermatt (7th) and Alexis Monney (9th) also entered the Top-10.
