Postmaster Roberto Cirillo resigns

The director of La Poste, Roberto Cirillo, is resigning, the yellow giant announced on Friday. He had been at the helm of the company since April 2019.

“Roberto Cirillo has decided to leave the position of general director of La Poste, at the end of the 2021-2024 strategic period successfully concluded,” La Poste said in a press release. The Ticino resident will remain in office until the end of March.

Mechanical engineer Roberto Cirillo succeeded Ulrich Hurni in April 2019. The latter took over as interim director of La Poste after the departure of Susanne Ruoff in June 2018, following the affair of undue subsidies paid to CarPostal.
