Rumor: towards a Nintendo Direct focused on Switch 1 next month?

The Nintendo Switch 2 is finally announced and Nintendo has confirmed that a presentation Nintendo Direct will take place on next April 2.

Until then, our Nintendo Switch darling is still alive and will see its catalog expand further in the coming months. Nintendo, for example, has planned for March Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond et Pokémon Legends: ZA are also announced for release this year.

Nate The Hate, leaker who announced, among other things, the correct announcement date for the Nintendo Switch 2, declared that a Nintendo Direct focused on Nintendo Switch games would arrive in February. Information confirmed by Brazilian journalist Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe, who claimed on Famiboards that there would be a Nintendo Direct next month. These statements were relayed by VGC.

It must be said that Nintendo’s last Nintendo Direct now dates back to June 18, 2024 and focused on games released for the second part of 2024. An Indie World/Partner Showcase also took place on August 27, 2024. Since then, it has been radio silence.

The month of February may be interesting to follow for Nintendo players like us: between the Pokémon Present which will certainly take place for Pokémon Day and a Nintendo Direct to reveal to us what awaits us for the end of life of the Nintendo Switch, we can’t wait to see what Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have in store for us!
