At least five teams have booked their place in this season’s Copa del Rey quarter-finals.
The race for the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey is in full swing in Spain. Barça joined Valencia, Getafe, Leganés and Atlético Madrid with their crushing 5-1 victory over Real Betis on Wednesday night. Lamine Yamal, author of a goal and two assists, stood out in a brilliant performance for Hansi Flick’s men.
The last three places will be decided this Thursday in the clashes between Athletic Club and Osasuna, Real Sociedad and Rayo Vallecano, as well as Real Madrid against Celta Vigo. The draw for the quarter-finals, scheduled for Monday January 20, will determine the posters for this next tour, which will be played in single matches on February 4, 5 and 6, with random designation of the host teams.
