A 63-year-old man found dead at the wheel of his vehicle in Brittany

A 63-year-old man was found dead in his vehicle, Thursday January 16, 2025 in Morlaix (Finistère), along the route de Lannion, not far from the Lidl store, around 9:45 a.m.

Firefighters and police on site

A witness raised the alarm when he saw the man in his car, stopped, his head slumped on his steering wheel. He stopped a minibus to ask for help, and broke the window to remove the 63-year-old man from the vehicle. The Morlaix firefighters were quickly alerted and rushed to the scene. Despite resuscitation attempts, the sixty-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene.

His death was considered a natural death, there is no open investigation. The police officers from the Cité du Viaduc were also mobilized.
