As usual, the Japanese firm did not indulge in sensationalism, contenting itself with a simple two minute trailer to briefly present a console that everyone is waiting for. Enough to disappoint some fans, who were perhaps hoping for a bigger show from the company. But let them be reassured, Nintendo will see us on April 2, 2025 for a new Nintendo Direct dedicated to the Switch 2. We should therefore know more at that time, in particular on the technical characteristics of the machine, its release date, its price or even the games planned for launch.
A first glimpse of the Switch 2, while waiting for the sequel
In the meantime, what information can we learn from Nintendo’s official trailer? In fact, this trailer confirmed numerous allegations published in recent months. For example, the console will indeed be equipped with magnetic Joy-Con. The latter will also carry an optical sensor.
