Asli Fernández, a Mexican content creator followed by thousands of subscribers, died on Monday, January 6r during post-pregnancy cosmetic surgeryknown as “Mommy Makeover”. Her husband announced this tragic news in a moving video shared on social networks. The young woman suffered a thrombosis during surgery.

Imported from the United States, the “Mommy Makeover” is a series of procedures aimed at correcting the physical after-effects of pregnancy. These cosmetic surgery operations generally combine liposuction of the stomach, an abdominoplasty and the installation of breast prostheses. All of these procedures can last up to six hours, for a cost ranging from 6,000 to 10,000 euros. “We can carry out two procedures at the same time – like redoing the stomach and the breasts – but this is not trivial »warns Doctor Nicolas Georgieu, vice-president of the French Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (SOFCEP), in an interview with Europe 1.
